November 2020 Reflections

I forgot yesterday was the last day of the month. With that being said, I forgot to write about what November has taught me. I have learnt a lot from November. I continued making reading a habit, which has helped me read some books from my To Be Read List.

I am currently decluttering and organizing my belongings. I am now very comfortable with removing items from my life. I used to have four containers of stuff from my old room stored at my sister’s house. I now only have one of them left to go through. Which I am planning on going through that next week.

I now focus on getting things done right away, instead of waiting a bit to get those errands done.

The importance of saving up money, instead of splurging on some kind of luxuries that I can live without.

I learned that if I prioritize on what is important, I can get a lot done. I have thought of a lot of cool ideas for upcoming stories.

Going for a walk is not only healthy, but important, too.

All in all, I feel quiet proud of what I have learned about myself in the past month. I can’t wait to see what happens to me next month.

July Preview

I can’t believe we are in July already. It’s so crazy! What can you expect from my blog in July…?

Well, I am still going to post Music Mondays, it’s where I post a positive song so we can all start the week off right.

Tea Tuesdays will still happen, since I love tea, so I don’t mind talking about it and taking pictures of my latest creations.

On Wednesdays, it’s a busy day because I post about what I am reading and I also write some cool stories and poems. I would love to post chapters of an upcoming book that is still in the very early stages. These posts are called WWW Wednesdays and Writing Wednesdays.

On Fridays I will be posting about Eckhart Tolle, he is a spiritual teacher and author. He wrote several books, like The Power of Now, which is one of the books I am currently reading.

Every day I will documenting about the item I am planning on discarding for the day.

But a new theme is called Thankful Thursdays which is where I will be talking about the things that I am grateful for. This will be launching tomorrow!

A couple of upcoming posts are going to be about goals, more writing stories, and financial goals.

Stay tuned for more!

WWW Wednesdays – June 17th, 2020

Welcome back to another WWW Wednesdays. In case you didn’t see last week’s post. I saw this on a lot of people’s blog, where they wrote about the books they have finished, what they are currently reading, and what they plan on reading next, so I decided I want to partake as well.

I hate to admit, but I have fallen behind in my 20 Books of Summer 2020, but I have read one of my books so far. As well as a book I have been reading for a little while. It’s one of those books that makes you think, so I kept it simple by reading only five lessons a day. It was an amazing book. But I will definitely pick up the pace tomorrow.

  1. What have I finished reading?
I love his work. It is so simple, yet so poetic. I loved his first book and fell in love this gem. It is reinforcing things we already knew about ourselves and our lives.
Such a good but emotional read. I always end up crying, but its’s a magical way to lead up to the final book.

2. What I am currently reading?

I love reading the Harry Potter series, but it makes me sad because it’s on to read something else. And these books are the ones that I grew with.

3. What will I read next?

In Hogwarts these stories are the equivalent to our fairy tales. These are enchanting bedtime stories for the past few centuries.
This is such an amazing story. Although I haven’t read it as much as the other stories it is still a cool sequel.

Ask

Earlier today I caught up with my family which was a lot of fun. I asked a lot of questions and wanted to hear many stories from the past. Those are the best.

I got to listen to my Grandma tell all of these stories from the past for a half hour whilst we drove her and her husband home. I loved every minute of it. I wish that I was able to stay up all night to hear more stories.

In order to learn, I should ask questions to ensure that I thoroughly understand what is being explained. I ask because it can also teach me knowledge that I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t ask.

Today, I will ask to advance my understanding by asking. I will not be afraid for asking questions for which will benefit everyone. And remember there is no such thing as a dumb question. 🙂
