Day 187 of 192

Hey, sorry I’ve been in a bit of a holidaze, as some might call it. But here I am. I hope everyone had a festive and safe holiday.

This item is from Saturday, as I am a bit behind with my posts.

I haven’t worn these socks in awhile. I thought they were cool, but now I see them as ineffective, design wise, because no one can see the cute reindeer. Instead they just look like a regular pair of brown socks. So, perhaps someone can enjoy these socks more than I do.

Day 179 of 192

This item is from Friday.

I have been going through my belongings because I want to ring in the new year with less stuff. I find that owning too many things isn’t good for your mental health. I am so proud of myself for partaking in this journey.

These socks are really old, and I already have a lot of socks as it is, so it’s best to get rid of some. Unfortunately these ones didn’t make the cut, but I’m sure they would make someone else warm and happy.

Day 176 of 192

I hope everyone is having a great day! I know I am.

I am going to give away these socks. These are socks you wear with flats and they are worn to prevent blisters on your toes. I normally just wear tights, or socks, depending on the outfit I am wearing at the time.

I know my cousins loves wearing flats, so I think she will like this. I’m setting this aside, for whenever I see her again.

Day 167 of 192

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

In my container of things that I am trying to organize and downsize my possessions. I came across an old pair of knee socks. I bought them so long ago that they probably no longer fit me. I am going to give them to my sister, for some reason she loses a lot of her socks. There’s a chance she might appreciate these when she goes on walks and to the park with her daughter.

Day 162 of 192

I found a pair of these socks in my container of things. I’m pretty sure I gave them to my sister, because she was famous of misplacing her socks. But her and I are okay on socks, so I’m going to give them to my Grandma. And let her decide if anyone needs them.

Day 160 of 192

Many years ago, my Grandma gave me these “socks”, they are mostly just to prevent blisters on the toes when wearing dress shoes. To me, they just don’t look comfortable, so I never bothered wearing them.

I’m not sure why I kept them for as long as I did. I might offer them to my cousin, because she likes to flats. In the box they come in, there are five pairs. If she doesn’t want these, then I’ll just send them back to my Grandma, I’m sure she’ll be able to find someone who would like these more than I did.

Day 72 of 192

I got rid of a pair of socks because they got a hole in them. I also finished the last bit of my shower gel, so that’s a bonus.

Digital Unclutter: I also deleted 10 photos from my phone. They were mostly just duplicates of another good photo.

Thankful Thursdays #2

It’s another Thankful Thursday, where I write about the things I am thankful for the week.

  1. The house that my boyfriend and I live is set to be really cold with the AC on, so I am thankful to have cozy socks and fluffy blankets to keep us warm.
  2. I am grateful for all of my teas. I love trying new tea, and having a bunch of different mugs. My favourite is S’mores Chai.
  3. My boyfriend got informed this morning, that he didn’t have to come in to work today, so he got to have a bonus day off, and I was off today, so we got to spend a day together. Which is perfect because I work on the days he has off.
  4. I love having pizza night, especially with my boyfriend.
  5. I enjoy talking a walk with a boyfriend. We went exploring in our new neighbourhood. We had a lot of fun.

What are the things that has happened this week that you are grateful for?

Decluttering Day One

For the month of October I am planning on decluttering a lot of items in my room. This will help me live with less stress and less stuff. Since today is the first day of October I will be giving away an item that I no longer need. Then tomorrow I will give away two items then three on the third day and so on and so forth.

Although this isn’t my idea I think it is a great way to get rid of items that I no longer need anymore.

Today I threw out a pair of socks that I will no longer wear because they have a hole in them.
