Day 91 of 192

Today marks my 13th week decluttering everything. It’s been a crazy journey so far. I can’t believe the year is ending in 102 days. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but I am looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings.

I remember when I was at my Grandparent’s house when I was younger. She had this really cool pen, and she knew how much my sister and I loved it, so she gave it to us. What was cool was his arms would able to move in circles.

My sister and I kept it for so many years, and now it no longer works. I never needed to keep it that long.

Day 82 of 192

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay. This item is from Saturday.

I have finally gone through this one container that I have. It was mostly filled with stuff that I haven’t used in a really long time, but I somehow convinced myself that I needed all of these things. Removing all of these things from this big container, I realized that I didn’t need any of these things at all.

This was a pen that my Grandparents gave me for Valentine’s Day 15 years ago. What was cool about this pen was that it had bubble dispenser, and a heart handle, which I thought was so cool.

But the pen doesn’t even work, and I’m way too cold for bubbles. If I miss Grandparents, I can still call them.

Another thing I have learned from this decluttering journey is that memories of people and or experiences, they aren’t in things, they are found in us. So, why do we constantly feel the need to declutter our homes and minds with things we no longer need?

Day 25 of 192

I like to think I have been doing a good job going through my stuff. It has been challenging, but I like to say I have made good process.

I want to make sure that everything I have is something that actually sparks joy in my life.

So, I was quite surprised that I have kept this pen that is broken at the end, so it makes it difficult to write with. Without hesitation, I had thrown it away.

One Thing – I Care

Before my boyfriend and I went to work I went over to my boyfriend’s for tea and breakfast. He made us pancakes whilst I sliced the strawberries.

It was a joyous breakfast. Since I left after him I made the bed and wrote him a note like I always do. Although this time I forgot to bring my paper so I had to ask his little sister for paper. Thankfully she had one.

I left my favourite pen (but I have multiples) there from whenever…

I always place his letter on his pillow. I’m so cute. 🙂 ❤
