Never Quit

I love when a new month begins on a Monday! It’s one of my favourite things, because it is like a double fresh start – a new month, and a new week. I found the perfect quote for my Weekly Quote.

I feel like if I didn’t have to go through a lot of stresses last month, I feel like I could have used more time to accomplish my goals. But regardless of what happened last month, I am only moving forward this time. There is no time for me to sulk about the past. It’s time to move forward, and continue to work hard on what I wish to achieve for myself. I cannot wait to accomplish my goals this month, and for this week as well.

I hope everyone is granted with the extra motivation to get out there and accomplish all that you wish to do.

Daily Cleaning Schedule

What makes my weekly cleaning schedule easy, are the things I do everyday. If I spend some time everyday, it all helps. And doing these chores helps if and when unexpected guests show up.

  1. Make the bed. I always make the bed every day. It is important for me to make my bed since it sets the tone and atmosphere for the day. It’s the little things that make the big difference. If you accomplish one thing, it snowballs to make you want to accomplish the next thing, and the thing after that. It gives you a desire to want to get more things done. And who doesn’t like to curl up in a made bed after a long day?
  2. Wash the dishes. I wash the dishes after every meal so they don’t pile up. For me, it is important to have a clean kitchen. I just could never work in a messy kitchen. After all, the kitchen is the heart of the house.
  3. Put things away. I have a home for everything, so whenever I am done with something, I just put it back. This not only saves me time but, it allows for me to remain organized.
  4. Attend to spills right away. For instance if something spills in the fridge, or anywhere else, I always clean it right away. It is so much easier to clean something when it just happened, instead of waiting for the spill to soak in.

“If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.”

Taking Control

I feel quite proud of myself of all the things I was able to accomplish!

This morning, I got a good night sleep, I made my boyfriend and I breakfast -toast with peanut butter and bananas with berry multi-grain oatmeal, followed with a cup of hot chocolate (mind you that wasn’t as healthy) so we made up by having a glass of orange juice.

Then I washed all the dishes at my boyfriend’s, I then tidied up our room. Then I wrote a note to my boyfriend like I always do when I leave after he goes to work.

My mama came and picked me up we made dinner together and I cleaned up and washed the dishes. Afterwards I went for a shower and then did a load of laundry and put it away.

I ended the day with some writing and reading. I also wrote a few (realistic) tasks that I wish to achieve tomorrow.

Today, I will believe in myself and tell myself that anything is possible. All I need to do is to take control of what I wish to do.

Reaching Goals

Last night before I went to bed I wrote a list of things that I wanted to accomplish. I woke up within the first few minutes of my alarm which is an accomplishment because I usually pressed snooze for about an hour some days.

I woke up, did my stretches then did a Sudoku puzzle, ate breakfast and drank my tea. I washed the dishes and then I went for a shower. Tidied up my room and got rid of a few things in my desk drawer.

I feel quite proud of myself that I was able to accomplish a lot of things that I wanted to complete.

Today, I will write down my goals and work hard to complete them.

Keep Moving

I managed to get a lot done in a day. I made myself breakfast, lunch and dinner, did a load of laundry, washed dishes, declutter my clothes in my closet. I was quiet proud of my accomplishments.

Today, I will try my best to accomplish all that I want to do and I will not give up until all is done.
