Every week, I like to write about a quote, too. I have always loved reading and becoming inspired with various quotes. I also like to write them down on cute note pad paper for my boyfriend. I like to place the note in his sweater pockets, or somewhere where he can find it.
I am trying to not let myself be defined by my failures. I try to look at everything as something that needed to happen, in order for the better things to happen to me. Everything in life is only temporary. So when things aren’t working for us, we know that things can only get better.
Since it’s International Women’s Day, I thought I would dedicate my Weekly Quote to us.
I wish that we live in a world that is more loving. There is always so much hate in the news, and in the world. We should learn to boost people, instead of expressing hatred, or anything else that is negative. Instead we should focus on empowering others. We should offer help to others. We have the power to empower, and inspire others.
I love to be inspired from other women in history, a few that come to mind are Laura Secord, and Harriet Tubman. I love reading about inspirational stories of all around the world, such as Malala Yousafzai, and how she took a bullet for women’s education. I admire hearing and following amazing stories like that.
The whole pandemic has given us a lot to think about many different things, like germs, finances, how to take care of ourselves, and so much more. It’s important, not just trying time of uncertainty, to make sure we are doing our best to take care of ourselves. We should do something good for our bodies, even if it’s just stepping outside for five minutes to get some fresh air, or eating an apple, or anything that is healthy for us. We should to get to get enough rest each night.
Think of small ways you can take care of yourself, and build up the momentum. If you want to go to bed early to help ensure you get enough sleep, try going to bed 10 -15 minutes earlier, and keep on doing that every three nights or so. Keep on doing that until you get to your desire bedtime.
I think it’s really important to keep yourself healthy and active. The only way to do that is by taking care of yourself.
Every week, I like to post about something inspirational and motivational. I hope this helps people achieve their goals.
I like to think that if we spend more time focusing and talking about our blessings, instead of our problems, then the universe will continue to bless us with more blessings, and things to be grateful for. If you continue to talk about what is wrong in your life, then the universe is just going to continue to bring you more hardships. Whatever you send out into the universe is going to come back to you, multiplied. Whatever you spend your most time talking about is going to come back to you, so you may as well talk about your blessings.
Another way I love starting the week is with a quote. I love quotes. And sometimes we just need an extra boost of confidence, and motivation.
It’s okay if it seems like nothing in your life is going your way. That happens, but what is most important is that you don’t give up on yourself, or your goals. It might not seem like you will accomplish them, but amazing things take time. And once your goals are accomplished you will have a big smile, and you would be proud of yourself. But if you don’t accomplish your goals you may never know that feeling. My advice is to keep going to accomplish all that you would like to.
I am a bit behind, but I hope everyone had a great week, so far. Here is a weekly quote to close out the week.
We have the power to use our words to heal or hurt people, the choice is ours. Why don’t we do something inspiring to help others? We might not even know the magnitude of our words or actions have on other people. So in the world that can seem like an awful place, we should learn to love and appreciate others.
And more importantly we should also learn to empower ourselves. We need to learn that it is okay to let go of things, and sometimes people that no longer serve us, or add any joy in our lives. It’s okay to leave things behind. Not everything was meant to stay with us forever. The sooner we learn this, the more peaceful our lives will be.
I love when a new month begins on a Monday! It’s one of my favourite things, because it is like a double fresh start – a new month, and a new week. I found the perfect quote for my Weekly Quote.
I feel like if I didn’t have to go through a lot of stresses last month, I feel like I could have used more time to accomplish my goals. But regardless of what happened last month, I am only moving forward this time. There is no time for me to sulk about the past. It’s time to move forward, and continue to work hard on what I wish to achieve for myself. I cannot wait to accomplish my goals this month, and for this week as well.
I hope everyone is granted with the extra motivation to get out there and accomplish all that you wish to do.
I hope everyone is having a good week, my week could definitely be a bit better.
I didn’t draw this, but I came across this photo on Facebook. I love Oprah Winfrey and quotes.
But with this whole pandemic going on, I have been doing some soul searching and wanting to try new things. One of my dreams is to write a book, and become a published author. I have been working hard on brainstorming ideas, and manifesting my dream to the universe.
I believe that everyone has a goal inside of them. All you need is to dig deep within yourself, and let the universe know what you would like for yourself.
It’s time to start our weeks out with positive vibes. We need to regain confidence in ourselves. Sometimes we are guilty of doubting ourselves, or that we let other people decide what we should do next, rather than us simply listening to our hearts. We are the captain of our soul, no one else is.
It is okay, to seek advice from others, but we shouldn’t give them the power to make all of our decisions for us. We should only seek guidance and their opinions to help us make a decision, but don’t let someone make decisions on behalf of yourself.
Some days it may be harder to believe in yourself, but it is absolutely necessary.
