This is Sunday’s item.
When I was younger I always liked my hair tied back, and in clips. But most days now, it’s just down.
I have no idea why I still have hair clips that I haven’t worn in about 20 years. I’m so happy that I don’t have to carry these things with me anymore.

Digital Decluttering: I uninstalled seven apps that I no longer use.
It is crazy the amount of hair clips that we accumulate over our lives. What’s interesting is the evolution of the shapes, as fashion trends change. I remember the ones that you have photographed, I used to have an extensive collection of those 😊

That, and hair ties. And yes, I agree. Fashion does seem to change quite fast these days.
But something I have been doing, is buying a lot of neutral colours, or floral print blouses, because to me, those are the things that are going to be current, and trendy.
I’m not one of those people who goes out and buys the latest trends. I think it’s silly because those trends aren’t worth the money, since they’re so short lived.

Oh I’m forever buying hair ties and losing them around the house 😂 that or I have them tied to my wrist.
That’s a great idea, I think that’s it great to go for clothes that will look good and still be trendy a few years later. I avoid the outlandish fashion trends, like leopard print cause it will look so out of place once the trend is over. 😊✨

Yes, I agree!
I enjoy simple clothes. They never go out of fashion. It saves me from having to go shopping and spending money. Which is always a plus!

Thanks to covid, I’ve been making great use of the clothes in my existing wardrobe. I was definitely a shopalic with constant online clothing packages coming for me at work. I had a reputation around the office for ordering too much 😂

Lol, same! I used to do a lot of shopping. Especially clothes. I always thought it was easier to look good than to feel good. I would shop with my feelings per se. I would get a new dress, new blouses, skirts etc. But now I am working on bettering myself to feel better.
It wasn’t a total waste, because I do wear a lot of the clothes I had bought when I felt like that.

I do feel more confident when I like the clothes I wear, but as you said I’ve accumulated so much of the good stuff and I’ve decluttered and even now I feel like I have a good collection of clothes. It’s great that you are working towards bettering yourself 😊✨

Yes, same! I couldn’t have it any better than that! 😀
And yes, I actually stopped buying clothes. I think the last time I bought a new outfit was about two years ago, when I went to college.
I rarely shop for much anymore, and I love not having much of a desire to buy much of anything anymore.

It’s so good, it shows self-control and you’ve probably saved loads of money from not buying clothes all of the time. This year, instead of buying clothes I’ve invested in art and house decor 😊

I have. I am more than happy with the things I already have.
And nice, it’s nice to invest in a hobby. 🙂 What kind of art are you into? Drawing, painting or something else?

Exactly! My art is mainly pen and pencil based, I would like to get more into paints 😊💫

I wish I was good at painting, and anything artistic.

Aww I’m sure that anyone can be, because art is a subjective thing and much of it can be abstract. Trust me, there are always eyes out there to appreciate every different style 😊✨

Like I try my best, but it’s just like really bad sometimes. Lol!

As long as you try and have a good time doing it, that’s all that matters 🤗

Decluttering is a huge part of our life really. To say the world has big problems with waste problems it is rather amazing the stuff everyone still hangs on to
