I saw this idea on Cathy 746 Books blog, and I thought what a great idea. I should partake by making my own list. At the time I had saw it, I was already rereading the Harry Potter series, so I figured that I should keep going with my To Be Read List before I start the series again. So that’s why I will be starting on the sixth Harry Potter book instead of going back to the beginning.
20 books in three months. June 1st to September 1st. I have a total of 7,214 pages to read.
Cathy did say you don’t have to read 20 books throughout the summer, you can read 10 or 15 books.
Here is my list.
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, J.K. Rowling Number of pages: 542
- Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows, J.K. Rowling Number of pages: 620
- The Tales of Beedle the Bard, J.K. Rowling Number of pages: 123
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, J.K. Rowling Number of pages: 321
- Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, J.K. Rowling Number of pages: 284
- The Crimes of Grindelwald, J.K. Rowling Number of pages: 277
- The Cuckoo’s Calling, Robert Galbraith Number of pages: 456
- The Silkworm, Robert Galbraith Number of pages: 656
- Career of Evil, Robert Galbraith Number of pages: 583
- Lethal White, Robert Galbraith Number of pages: 649
- The Shack: Where Tragedies Confronts Eternity, WM. Paul Young Number of pages: 279
- The Year of Yes, Shonda Rhimes Number of pages: 311
- Talking As Fast As I Can, Lauren Graham Number of pages: 209
- To Kill A Mockingbird, Harper Lee Number of pages: 323
- Go Set A Watchman, Harper Lee Number of pages: 280
- Eat Pray Love, Elizabeth Gilbert Number of pages: 368
- Better Than Before, Gretchen Rubin Number of pages: 278
- Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of Your Head and Into Your Life, Gary John Bishop Number of pages: 207
- The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living A Good Life, Mark Manson Number of pages: 212
- Everything is F*cked: A Book About Hope, Mark Manson Number of pages: 236

I love the list. Some of them I have read and some of them I really want to read. Your collection of J.K. Rowling’s books looks so great. I think I would love to start with Harper Lee’s books as I really loved reading “To Kill a Mockingbird”. Thanks for the awesome list.
Best wishes from The Strong Traveller and have a great day.

Thanks so much! I’m not sure if you heard but Robert Galbraith is her pseudonym, so I have lots of her books! She is such a brilliant author. Ever since I read To Kill A Mockingbird in high school, I fell in love with that book.
For sure, to travel the world is something I have always wanted to do. I can’t to do that one day. 🙂

You should check them out. She’s releasing the fifth book of that series at the end of September, so you have time to catch up. There’s even a TV series on those books.

Yeah, A Year of Yes is amazing!! I liked all of those references to Cristina Yang! But I feel like I’m at a point of life again, where I need to re-read it!
