I made my boyfriend and I noodle soup (it’s like chicken noodle but without the chicken). We’re saving money for this weekend.
First you wash your vegetables, I’m using celery and carrots. I’m also adding onions.
Next you chop all of that.
Grab a large pot (depending how hungry you are) and melt a few tablespoons of butter.
Add the onions and let that sauté for a few minutes on medium heat.
Then you add your vegetables and some spices like oregano leaves, thyme, salt and pepper and whatever else you prefer.
Now you want to add the water and chicken broth and bring to a boil.
This is when you add the noodles and cook following the directions on box.
Add more spices and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Serve hot with crackers. Enjoy!
